The City of Keller’s award-winning parks and recreation system features more than 300 acres of developed park land, 11 park sites and nearly 19 miles of hike and bike trails that connect neighborhoods to parks and playgrounds. The department also runs The Keller Pointe, a popular fitness and aquatics facility; keeps older residents having fun at the Keller Senior Activities Center; and organizes nearly 40 special community events annually. The Sports Complex has fields for football, soccer, baseball and softball. Keller ISD is the primary school district within the City of Keller. It serves nine area cities with many campuses, including 4 high schools, 6 middle schools, 6 intermediate schools and 23 elementary schools.
